Hebraic heritage of Christianity studies offered
ADA – Al and Anita Robertson are hosting studies on Hebraic roots of Christianity at 6 p.m. each Friday at Ada’s Quality Inn, 400 NE Richardson Loop. Studies and celebrations of festivals of the Lord and other Hebraic areas of interest that were lost long ago will be offered. May-Day singing scheduled
ADA — Lightning Ridge Baptist Church hosts May-Day singing at 10:30 a..m. May 4. Dinner follows the singing. Featured guests include Homeward Bound Gospel Singers. For more information, phone 580-399-1316.
St. Luke’s accepting applications for VBS
ADA — “All Creatures Great and Small” is the theme for St. Luke’s Episcopal Church’s Vacation Bible School May 28-30. The program time for those three days will be from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m., with lunch provided each day. St. Luke’s is located at 17th and Broadway and applications may be picked up and returned at the parish office, Gem Jewelers and Yerby’s Appliance on Main Street.
Stonewall church hosts garage sale
STONEWALL — Stonewall Assembly of God Church, 130 W. Main, hosts a garage sale Saturday beginning at 7:30 a.m.
Paintball, concert planned for Saturday
UNION VALLEY — A fun-filled day for youth including paintball, food and concert will be at the Three Crosses Cowby Camp (formerly known as Ken Lance Sports Arena) one-fourth mile south of Union Valley Baptist Church. The event will begin at 2:30 p.m. and is free. A bonfire is also planned for dusk. The activity is sponsored by the Union Vally Baptist Church. New Beginnings Church hosting Law Day
STRATFORD — New Beginnings Church will be hosting a Naional Law Day Service May 4 at 10:30 a.m. National, state and local law officials will be honored at the special service. The church is located two miles east of Stratford or two miles west of Gaar Corner.
