Mother’s Day Breakfast at Lightning Ridge Baptist

ADA — A Mother’s Day Breakfast will be served honoring mothers at the Lightning Ridge Baptist Church. The breakfast will be served Saturday morning at 9 a.m. All ladies of the community are invited and daughters are welcome also. For more information, phone 580-436-5227.



Gospel Singing in Byng

BYNG — Byng Freewill Baptist Church will be hosting a gospel singing May 11 at 6 p.m. “Mercy” is expected to perform.



Gospel Singing sponsored by Chickasaw Council

ADA — Ada Chickasaw Community Council will be sponsoring a gospel singing Saturday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Chickasaw Community Center at 700 N. Mississippi. Tribesman will conduct the singing. Food items will also be for sale. All procedes will go to the council. For more information, phone 580-272-0549. Everyone is invited.

Angel Food Ministry sets order dates

ADA — Trinity Baptist Church and Larry Hutton Ministries are working together to provide Angel Food Ministry to the community. Order dates will be May 12, 13, 15, 16 and 19 from 9-11 a.m. and 1-3 p.m., May 14 from 9-11 a.m. and May 17 from 9-11 a.m. and 1-3 p.m. May 19 is the last day to order at Trinity Baptist. For $30, families can receive fresh meats, fresh or frozen fruits and vegetables and staple items. This is not “day-old” or “outdated” food. There are no applications, qualifications or limits on the quantity purchased. The ministry receives cash, money orders and food stamp cards.
