Happy Elders meet

— The Happy Elders of Asbury United Methodist Church met Tuesday, Aug. 12 in the Family Center for a covered dish luncheon. Pastor Carol Reich led a discussion about “Heroes of the Bible.” Several heroes were mentioned. Clay Carley was introduced as Methuselah. He spoke of his long life and proceeded to list the names of his many sons.
Joe Jared asked the blessing.
