Phil Stacey to perform at Ada church
ADA — Phil Stacey, American Idol Season 6 top six finalist, will be appearing live in concert at Life Community Church, 330 E. 14th, Friday, Nov. 14. Stacey is a former music director and worship leader at his local church and will perform worship songs and positive Christian hits. All seats are free and open to the public. A love offering will be received. Doors open at 6 p.m. with the concert starting at 7 p.m. Seating is limited. For more information, phone 580-427-6230.
Stratford church begins relationship series
STRATFORD — New Beginnings Church at Stratford hosts a marriage and relationship series for couples and singles Oct. 5 - Nov. 9. Sunday morning services are at 10:30 a.m. Charles McGregor, church pastor, will be teaching a series of messages on marriage, relationships, family and home. This is in relationship to the movie “Fireproof.” The event is free and open to the public.
Singles plan trip to Bricktown
STRATFORD — New Beginnings Church Christian Singles at New Beginnings Church, Stratford, will be going to Bricktown to enjoy the boat ride and dinner Oct. 11. For more information, phone 405-990-0314. The event is open to area singles.
Annual singing scheduled in Ada
ADA — Dixon Chapel Church hosts its annual singing Saturday at Chickasaw Nation’s old community gymnasium in Ada. The event will be from 7 p.m. until midnight. Dinner will be served at midnight.
The event is open to the public. Those attending need to take lawn chairs.
Church offers classes on Jesus’ name
ADA — New Life Church of the Apostolic Church offers special classes on the mystery of the name of Jesus and teachings on how to call upon the name of Jesus to be saved. Refreshments will be served.
The church is located next door to Pete’s Catfish House on 32nd Street.

Gospel singing set Sunday night
Byng — Byng Free Will Baptist Church hosts Gospel singing at 6 p.m. Sunday. Guest singers will be the Gastineaus.
Kidz Nite Out scheduled today
ADA — Ada Church of the Nazarene, 315 W. 33rd Street, hosts Kidz Nite Out from 6-8:30 p.m. today. The event is for children ages infant through sixth grade.
Dinner will be provided for those eating table food.
Buffet dinner set at local church
ADA — First Pentecostal Holiness Church, 1930 Arlington, hosts its annual all-you-can-eat buffet dinner from 5-7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 11.
For tickets, phone 580-332-3651 or purchase them at the door. Tickets are $7.50 per adult and children 12 and under eat free.
The event is open to the public.
Benefit concert set Tuesday night
ADA — First Baptist Church of Ada hosts a benefit concert and pancake fry Tuesday, Oct. 14. The pancake fry cost $5 per person and is from 4-7 p.m. A concert featuring Jeff Johnson starts at 7 p.m. All proceeds go to the Ferguson and Quarterman families.

Feast of Tabernacles registration opens
SEMINOLE — Two Wild Olives Ministry will be hosting Feast of Tabernacles celebration through eight days of community camping similar to traditional “camp meetings.” Two Wild Olives is a Messianic organization and this feast, called Sukkot in Hebrew, will feature Hebraic teaching and celebration. Church celebrates 75 Years
OIL CENTER — Pastors James and Chyrel Feltner and the Oil Center Pentecostal Holiness Church host the church's 75-year homecoming Oct. 11-12.
Events begin Saturday, Oct. 11, at 7 p.m. with gospel singing. Sunday morning worship begins at 10:45 a.m. There will be a special choir. James Feltner will give the morning message.
A 2 p.m. service will recognize past pastors, their families and special guest. There will also be a video presentation of things for the past.
The event is open to anyone who has attended in the past.
Methodist Church plans trip to Holy Land
ADA — Dr. George Warren, pastor of First Methodist Church of Ada, and his wife, Rosilyn, are leading a spiritual pilgrimage to the Holy Land June 8-19. The trip is open to people of all denominations.
Sights include Massada, the Wailing Wall, Pool of Siloam and Sea of Galilee and architecture and archeological discoveries.
