Glazes minister at Latta church
LATTA — Terrell and Beverly Glaze will be ministering at Place of New Hope, 2029 W. 32nd, Latta, Sunday, Nov. 9, through Wednesday, Nov. 12, at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Sunday and 7 p.m. weeknights.
The Glazes will be ministering the World of the Living God with anointed singing, preaching and testimonies.
“Proclaiming Liberty to the Captives” is the focus of this evangelistic team. Presenting the Gospel in a way that is exciting and contagious, Glaze is an anointed preacher, accomplished musician and enthusiastic singer of all types of Christian music who delivers a message of hope, encouragement and joy. Having traveled with country music legend, Roy Clark for a number of years he has appeared on several television shows including the long running hit country music show “Hee Haw” and “The Tonight Show.”
First Assembly announces ESL classes
ADA — English as a Second Language is offered to the community free of charge at Ada First Assembly of God, 300 E. 14th Street.
Classes are held on Tuesday nights at 7 p.m. in the Family Life Center (behind the Apple Market). Classes will start on Tuesday, Nov. 18. For more information, contact the church office at 580-332-2533.
Church continues series on relationships
STRATFORD — New Beginnings Church at Stratford continues a marriage and relationship series for couples and singles through Nov. 9. Sunday morning services are at 10:30 a.m. Charles McGregor, church pastor, will be teaching a series of messages on marriage, relationships, family and home. This is in relationship to the movie “Fireproof.” The event is free and open to the public.
Event at Byng honors veterans
BYNG — New Bethel Baptist Church, Byng, is sponsoring a “Back to God and Country” event Nov. 8 beginning at 11:30 a.m. It will be held in the Byng School parking lot, next to the church (weather permitting, or inside church if weather is bad). Be there by 12:30 p.m. for a special recognition of all area veterans and military personnel. A “Support our Troops” car magnet will be given to all participants.
There will be free hot dogs, chips and drinks, games, prizes. Three $50 gift cards for gas from the Byng Mini Mart will be given away at 2 p.m. You must register to win before 1p.m. and be present at drawing time.
Auction benefits ministry program
ADA — An auction at 10 a.m. Nov. 8 will take place at 3Crosses/Ken Lance Arena, South of Ada on State Highway 3W between Ada and Stonewall.
This auction will benefit all the Gospel Station’s related ministries: Building Stations, Feeding Children, Building Orphanage, World Mission Team, 3Crosses/Youth Camp, and more. Many have already donated to this great cause, by sending valuable items to be auctioned, such as: RVs, cars, trucks, equipment, tools, toolboxes, furniture, artwork, handmade new items, roping and bucking shoots, compressors, new and used valuable items.

Gospel singing set at Byng church
BYNG — Byng Free Will Baptist Church hosts a gospel singing at 6 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 9. Singers include Kim Maccollister and Boys.
Thanksgiving meal scheduled at church
PONOTOTC — Pontotoc United Methodist Church, Pontotoc, hosts a Thanksgiving covered-dish dinner and singing, Saturday, Nov. 22. The church will provide the meat, bread and beverage. Dinner will be served at 6 p.m., singing will begin at 7 p.m. The event is open to the public. Special music will be provided by local groups and individuals.
