Oklahoma heritage

A grant provided by Ada City School Foundation sent Kathy Evans’ and Margaret Eason’s pre-kindergarten classes to the Cowboy Hall of Fame in Oklahoma City to experience Oklahoma’s heritage and grasp what it was like to live during the land run. Also, the children met a mountain man and learned how he survived. Pictured are classmembers at the Cowboy Hall of Fame and Dr. Tom Yarbrough talking to the students as a mountain man.
