Taylor Godwin, Kingfisher, has been named an All-American Scholar by the United States Achievement Academy.
The USAA has established the All-American Scholar Award Program to offer deserved recognition to superior students who excel in the academic disciplines. These scholars must earn a 3.3 or higher grade point average, and are selected by a school instructor, counselor or other qualified sponsor.
Godwin, who attends Kingfisher Middle School, was nominated by Kyle Karns. Godwin will appear in the All-American Scholar Yearbook, which is published nationally.
Godwin's parents are Steven Godwin, Ada, and Tammy Youngblood, Crescent.
Grandparents are Jeff and Paula Farrell, Kingfisher, Duane and Laura Godwin, Thomas, Richard Elkins, Kingfisher, and Karen Hamilton, Oklahoma City.
