EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR Eastern Ohio P-16 Partnership The P-16 Partnership, a new program to foster postsecondary success and career readiness by creating a seamless system of education that is student-centered, high-performing and continually responsive to community needs, seeks an Executive Director.
The Executive Director will lead the P-16 to increase postsecondary success and career readiness in Mahoning, Trumbull, Columbiana and Ashtabula Counties.
Reporting to a volunteer board, the Executive Director will facilitate collaborative strategies to support the P-16 process, and serve as the primary spokesperson to foster public support for postsecondary success and career readiness by all students. The Executive Director will also build and maintain collaborative relationships with school districts, educators, business and civic leaders, legislators, social service agencies, faith based organizations and other P-16 programs.
Qualifications • An advanced degree or commensurate experience in business, education, youth leadership. • Successful fundraising and grant writing experience. • Lives in, lived in, or has knowledge of the Valley. • Has successfully served in a leadership position for three years or more. • Has knowledge of technology and its regular use for communication and other purposes. • Identify, recruit, manage and support a committed staff and group of volunteers. • Excellent communication and presentation skills
