GENEVA — Jane Knapp, age 82, of Geneva, Ohio, passed away Thursday, Nov. 5, 2009, in Geneva.
Born April 18, 1927, in Cumberland, Md., the daughter of George and Sarah (Schaffer) Kriglein.
Jane was a retired cook from Homestead Nursing Facility and also worked at Broadfield Manor. She enjoyed playing games with her sisters, Anna Mae and Josephine. She also loved to play bingo.
She is survived by two sons, Daniel (Gina) Knapp of Geneva and Tom (Lori) Knapp of Houston, Texas; two daughters, Debra Lawyer of Ashtabula and Myrna (Jim) Frantz of Warren; 13 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sister, Anna Mae Burns of Geneva; and a brother, Louis Kriglein of Geneva.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Michael Leslie; and several other brothers and sisters.
Friends will be received from 6 to 7 p.m., Monday, Nov. 9th, at THE BEHM FAMILY FUNERAL HOMES & CREMATORY, 175 S. Broadway, Geneva, Ohio.
Memorial Service will follow at 7 p.m., Monday, at the Funeral Home. Burial will be at Maplewood Cemetery, Geneva, Ohio.
