Other restaurants participating in the show are the Museum Caf?, Oak Tree Country Club, Ranch Steakhouse, The Coach House, The Ranchers Club at the Atherton Hotel, Red Prime Steak, Elements Steakhouse and Bolero Grill. The dishes will be judged on taste, appearance and originality. There will be a chance for the public to sample the dishes and vote for the winner. There also will be a wine pairing. Dillard Group has two new agents at its Norman offices.
Kelly Philp, who has sold real estate in California's Bay Area in the past, owned her own business importing Turkish scarves and tapestries for 20 years before joining Dillard Group.
Also joining the Dillard Group is Lindsay Moody who previously sold cars at Big Red Sports and Imports in Norman.
Norman attorney David Bernstein recently was honored as a "Super Lawyer," limited to the top percent of attorneys across the state. Bernstein has made the list every year since the program began in 2006.
Bernstein specializes in bad faith insurance law, significant personal injury cases, truck collision cases and defective product cases.
Two local Allstate insurance agencies recently were honored by the company as Premier Service Agencies, an honor given to less than 20 percent of Allstate agencies in Oklahoma.
Norman Allstate agent Randy Stansel, 1208 Lindsey Plaza Dr., and Moore agent Jim Wilson, 721 NW 12th St., were honored.
Allstate said the honor is given to agents who consistently demonstrate excellence in providing an accessible, knowledgeable and personal customer experience.
Norman resident Donald K. Shandy, a director at the law firm of Ryan Whaley Coldiron Shandy PC, was inducted as a fellow of the American College of Environmental Lawyers Oct. 2 at the ACOEL's annual meeting in Portland, Maine.
