Marshall recorded its third shutout of the high school football season Saturday, defeating Williamsville 16-0 in a second-round Illinois Class 2A playoff game. The Lions have won 10 in a row since losing the season opener to Casey and will face the Warriors in a quarterfinal contest at Casey.
ISU women wrap up exhibtion play today vs. Southern Indiana
Indiana State’s women’s basketball team will host its second consecutive NCAA Division II team as they wrap up exhibition play today. Southern Indiana will oppose the Sycamores at 2:05 p.m. inside Hulman Center.

Visiting Rockville fell victim to several big plays Friday night as third-ranked Fountain Central won the Class A Sectional 39 high school football championship game by a 39-0 score.
Sanders, Jackson placed on injured reserve
The injury bug continues to haunt the Indianapolis Colts. Team officials confirmed Friday that both cornerback Marlin Jackson and safety Bob Sanders have been placed on injured reserve for the remainder of the season.
