WPD Crime Report
The following offenses were observed or reported to the Weatherford Police Department between Friday Nov. 6 and Sunday Nov. 8, 2009.
Theft
n Nov. 6, At the 200 block of I-20 West, an employee of Applebee’s reported that at approximately 7 p.m., a male suspect had left the business without paying for $14.99 worth of food items he had consumed.
n Nov. 8, At the 700 block of North Main Street, am employee of Vicks Chevron reported that at approximately 8 a.m., an unknown male suspect had pumped $52 worth of gasoline into a Dodge pickup truck and then left the business with making payment for the fuel.
Burglary of a vehicle
n Nov. 7, At the 100 block of South Bowie Drive, a complainant reported that at approximately 5:50 p.m., an unknown male suspect was seen entering into her vehicle without permission. The complainant stated that at the time of the report, she was uncertain if anything was missing from the vehicle.
Criminal mischief
n Nov. 7, At the 700 block of South Elm Street, a complainant reported that at approximately 9:40 p.m., an unknown suspect had damaged a window screen at their residence by throwing a large rock into the screen causing the frame to bend.
