Pearce, Navarro exchange vows

— ADA — Rikki Pearce and Solomon Navarro, both of Ada, exchanged wedding vows April 18, 2009. The Rev. Rusty Hewes officiated the 2 p.m. ceremony at St. Joseph Catholic Church.
The bride is the daughter of Tom and Debbie Short, Ada. Grandmother is Mildred Bond, Broken Bow.
Parents of the bridegroom are Eutiquio and Lorenza Navarro, Ada.
Matron of honor was Robin Pearce, twin sister of the bride, Ada. Bridesmaids were Claudia Navarro, sister of the bridegroom, Ada.
Best man was Tiquio Navarro, brother of the bridegroom, Ada. Groomsman was Robert Ginden, Durant.
Ushers were Tiquio Navarro and Matt Frederickson, both of Ada, and Robert Ginden.
Anna Redwine, niece of the bride, Ada, was flower girl.
Ring bearer was Ross Redwine, nephew of the bride, Ada.
Nieces of the bride, Jordan Short, Claremore, and Sarah Short, Ada, attended the guest registry.
Altar servers were Bryce and Austin Short, nephews of the bride, Claremore, Josh Belcher and Aaron Wallace, both of Ada.
Tony Mondejar was the cantor from Ada.
Adam Whitney, Nick Cheper and Jack Ritchie, all of Ada, served as eucharistic ministers.
Families of the couple hosted a reception in Benedictine Hall at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Assisting were Brad and Lena Craig, Ada, and sisters of the bridegroom, Janie Chavez, Nashville, Tenn., and Liz Hernandez, Ada.
The couple is at home in Ada following a seven-day Caribbean cruise.
