Muir, White exchange vows
OKLAHOMA CITY — Ashley Muir, Oklahoma City, became the bride of Terry White, Oklahoma City, July 17, 2009, at Fossil Creek Ranch, Ada. Judge Martha Kilgore officiated the ceremony at 7 p.m.
The bride is the daughter of Tom Muir, Oklahoma City, and Gail Shanklin, Ada.
Parents of the bridegroom are Mary White, Oklahoma City, formerly of Clinton, Okla., and the late Arley White.
The bride was given in marriage by Tom Muir and Frank Shanklin.
Maid of honor was Jaime McCullough, Broken Arrow. Bridesmaids were Madison Muir, sister of the bride, Oklahoma City.
Best man was Jerry Hayes, The Colony, Texas. Groomsman was Eric Warner, Tempe, Ariz.
Ushers were Zack Muir, brother of the bride, Moore, and Count Shanklin, brother of the bride, Seattle, Wash.
Ring bearer was Elias Verdugo, nephew of the bride, Ada. Flower girls were Chandler and Kennedi Peters, both of Ada.
Frank and Gail Shanklin hosted a reception at Fossil Creek Ranch, Ada. Assisting were Chartelle Verdugo, sister of the bride, Ada. and Holly Peters, Ada.
The couple is at home in Oklahoma City following a wedding trip to Playa Del Carmen, Mexico. The bride and bridegroom are science teachers at Putnam City West High School.
