— Wall, Cox marry June 16
ADA — Melissa Wall and T.L. Cox, both of Ada, exchanged wedding vows at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church June 16, 2007. The Rev. Rusty Hewes officiated the 1 p.m. ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Evert and Glenda Wall, Ada, and the late Paula Wall. She is the granddaughter of Lela and Jack Williamson, Ada.
Parents of the the bridegroom are Tom and Pam Cox, Collinsville, Texas. He is the grandson of Lewis and Ann Cox, Gainesville, Texas, and Dian Gilbert, Durant.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Matron of honor was Christina Wall, sister of the bride, Ada. Bridesmaids were Amber Henderson, Ada, Jamie Cheatwood, Virginia, and Karla Cox, sister of the bridegroom, Collinsville, Texas.
Best man was J.T. Beavers, Sherman, Texas. Groomsman was Matt Wiley, Ada, Jacob Brinkley, Gainesville, and Patrick Cox, cousin of the bridegroom, Collinsville, Texas.
A reception was hosted at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church following the ceremony.
The couple is at home in Ada following a wedding trip to Boston, Mass.

The bride is a 2004 graduate of Latta High School and attends Oklahoma University Health Science Center.
The bridegroom graduated from Ada High School in 2001 and East Central University in 2006. He is a second-year medical student at Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Richardson, Fortner exchange vows
ADA — Terra Richardson and Alan Fortner, both of Ada, were married Sept. 29, 2007, at Fitzhugh Baptist Church. Steve Wilburn officiated the 2 p.m. ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Terry and Sherry Richardson, Fitzhugh. She is the granddaughter of June Griffin, Fittstown, and the late Burl Griffin; and Lela Richardson, Ada, and the late Matt Richardson.
Parents of the bridegroom are Paul and Dessa Fortner, Tupelo. He is the grandson of Opal Weller, Tupelo, and the late Deborn Weller; and the late Thomas and Pat Fortner.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Matron of honor was Carrie Hartley, Ravenwood, Mo. Bridesmaids were Janessa Hughes and LaDawn Balthrop, sisters of the bride, both of Ada; and Sha’Lynn Griffin, cousin of the bride, Fittstown. Junior bridesmaid was Ashlyn Fortner, daughter of the bridegroom, Ada.
Best man was Kenny Fortner, brother of the bridegroom, Tupelo. Groomsmen were Kent Cornell, brother-in-law of the bridegroom, Sulphur; Jon Fortner, nephew of the bridegroom, Tupelo; and Zac Fortner, nephew of the bridegroom, Tupelo.
Ushers were Jon Fortner and Zac Fortner, both of Tupelo and nephews of the bridegroom.
Flowergirls were Janae Hughes, niece of the bride, Ada, and Ragan Hartley, daughter of the matron of honor, Ravenwood, Mo.
Ringbearer was Daniel Hughes, nephew of the bride, Ada.
Candle lighters were Kenna, Karli and Kara Cornell, nieces of the bridegroom, all of Sulphur.
Guest book attendant was Kassi Fortner, niece of the bridegroom, and Valerie Campbell, Durant.
The couple is at home in Ada after a wedding trip to Playa Del Carmen, Mexico.
